Associate Director – SAAS / IT GROWTH

The PayGlocal Business Development team is a key pillar of the organization, driving new merchant acquisition across product lines and owning revenue targets. This role involves identifying and acquiring new SaaS / IT merchants (Domestic + Global), with a focus on the MCA (Multi-Currency Accounts) and Payment Gateway products. It will involve close collaboration with the marketing team to develop acquisition channels, as well as coordination with cross-functional teams such as Customer Support, Risk & Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Technology.

What will you be working on
  • Identifying and acquiring new SaaS merchants/ IT partners to gain market share across cross border payments & domestic / International payment gateway.
  • Establish processes by working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of day-to-day partner business operations and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Owning and expanding use cases like Vendor Payments, Employer on record payments for SaaS businesses.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota objectives, driving revenue, expanding market share, and acting as a lead generator in business development.
  • Set qualified appointments with new customers to address their challenges and business needs.
  • Ensure sales targets are met without mis-selling or spamming complaints. Track sales productivity via account mapping, call planning, and CRM tools.
  • Give feedback to the marketing team on lead quality based on the sales funnel and feedback from prospects/customers.
Qualifications
  • Strong passion for cross-border payments, payment gateways and business development in Fintech Industry. Need strong Hunting mindset to drive partner/merchant acquisition.
  • Over 8+ years of experience in B2B Sales, with at least 2-4 years focused in SaaS segment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS / IT merchants payment cycle and solutioning.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and engaging with partners focused on acquisition customers.
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation and communication.
  • Strong strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the region to onboard new merchants/ partners/ events.
