Associate Director – Partnerships

Delhi NCR / Bangalore / Pune, India

PayGlocal Partnerships team is responsible for growing existing and acquiring new platform/ enterprise partnerships / Reseller Partnerships / Market Places that help us distribute different payments (Multicurrency Accounts / Payment Gateway products) offerings while working closely with partners. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual for the Strategic Partnerships vertical within this team. This role involves creating and building partners for Merchant Acquisition strategy, leading high impact partnerships, explore new solutioning and providing ongoing support to onboarded partners, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Customer Support, Risk & Operations, Compliance, Finance and Technology.

What will you be working on
  • Identifying and acquiring new platform/ enterprise partners to sell white label solutions / ReSellers / Market places in the focus segments to gain market share across cross border payments & domestic / International payment gateway.
  • Establish processes by working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of day-to-day partner business operations and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and partnership structures tailored to specific partners. Leading the initiation, structuring, and negotiation of high-impact partnerships
  • Build and grow a strong network of partners and affiliates with potential distribution channels.
  • Providing ongoing support to onboarded merchants through partners, managing their relationship lifecycle by collaborating with Merchant Support, Risk & Operations, and Technology teams.
  • Work towards defining and building an integrated eco-system to support SMB’s & Partners in India.
  • Explore deeper API based and custom solutioning scale the scope of partnership with key partners.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement joint marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Utilize dedicated analytics to track and measure sales leads, conversions, and revenue generated through partnerships.
  • Taking ownership of sales targets, both overall and within specific accounts, and developing strategic plans to achieve them in collaboration with partners.
  • Build connects at multiple levels within partner orgs while managing communications with senior partner stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Strong passion for cross-border payments and business development in Fintech Industry.
  • Over 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales/ partnership, with at least 3-5 years focused in building or managing a partner network especially in payments, B2B partnerships, ERPs, SMB led platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and engaging with partners focused on acquisition of SME/MSME customers.
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation and communication.
  • Strong strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the region to onboard new partners and manage partner ecosystem.
